The Pediatric Hematology, Oncology & Stem Cell Transplant division at Indiana University Health is seeking qualified candidates for a faculty Pediatric Psychology role. The preferred applicant will possess a background in hematology/oncology and/or pediatric psychology, showcasing strong analytical skills and a collaborative approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychosocial support and therapeutic services primarily in an outpatient setting, with occasional inpatient responsibilities.
  • Contribute to our mission of enhancing the health of children, adolescents, and young adults facing cancer and blood disorders through innovative, family-centered care, leading-edge research, and the education of future medical professionals.

Qualifications:

  • PhD or PsyD in pediatric psychology.
  • Completion of a Post-Doctoral fellowship.
  • HSPP license in Indiana or eligibility to obtain.

The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Riley Children's is affiliated with the Indiana University School of Medicine and is a member of the Children's Oncology Group Phase I Consortium. Our program is the only nationally ranked pediatric oncology and hematology service in Indiana, offering specialized treatments including pediatric stem cell transplants and CAR T-Cell therapy.

Our interdisciplinary teams manage over 80% of pediatric cancer cases in the region, conducting more than 300 new oncology patient evaluations annually. With over 13,000 outpatient visits each year, we focus on a range of conditions including leukemias, solid tumors, brain tumors, and various hematological disorders.
