Qualifications

  • Required: Completion of a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellowship.
  • Preferred: Additional fellowship training in Neuro-Oncology.
  • Board Certified in Pediatrics and Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
  • Physician MD/DO licensed in Indiana or eligible for licensure.

The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Indiana University Health is a member of the Children's Oncology Group Phase I Consortium and is affiliated with the Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center, the only NCI-designated Cancer Center in the state. We are the sole nationally ranked pediatric oncology and hematology program in Indiana, offering unique services such as pediatric stem cell transplants and CAR T-Cell therapy.

Our interdisciplinary teams provide care for over 80% of children and adolescents diagnosed with cancer, managing more than 300 new oncology patients annually. With over 13,000 outpatient visits each year, we focus on various conditions including leukemias, solid tumors, brain tumors, and hematologic disorders.
