Bon Secours is seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative to join our team at Eastside Medical Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strong communication and customer service skills to greet patients and the community in a respectful manner
  • Process admission paperwork and basic insurance verification to ensure accurate patient identity for hospital billing systems
  • Answer internal and external calls in a friendly and helpful manner, troubleshooting and resolving problems promptly
  • Maintain patient flow and inform Supervisor of any department and patient issues immediately
  • Coordinate and prioritize bed placement needs to ensure prompt and appropriate placement of patients
Requirements
  • High School Degree or GED
  • Prior experience in the healthcare field or a related area is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred but not required
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office, Cadence, and Connect care preferred but not required
