This entry-level position is responsible for performing manual work associated with refuse collection, recycling, maintenance of parks, cemetery, streets, and operating department equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and dispose of refuse and recyclables
  • Maintain parks, cemetery, and streets
  • Operate department equipment
  • Perform heavy lifting and manual labor
Requirements
  • CDL preferred, must be able to obtain a valid CDL during employment
  • Must be at least 18 years of age by application date
  • Drug/alcohol testing required after provisional offer of employment
  • Residency required within 30 miles of the Ellis City limits
