Lead Addiction Medicine Program at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center

The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist to lead their growing addiction medicine program as Clinical Medical Director.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the leadership, growth, quality assurance, oversight, and overall management of the addiction clinic.

The position includes a faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor depending on level of experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the addiction medicine program and ensure high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement strategies for program growth and expansion
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Conduct research and publish findings to advance the field of addiction medicine
  • Teach and mentor students, residents, and fellows
