Job Title: Bus Operator

Join the City of Torrance Transit team as a Bus Operator and contribute to providing safe, reliable, and courteous transportation to our customers. As a Bus Operator, you will be responsible for the safe operation of a passenger bus on assigned routes and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive safely and efficiently on assigned routes and schedules
  • Provide excellent customer service to passengers
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the bus
  • Report any incidents or issues to the Transit Department
Requirements:
  • Valid California Class A or B Driver's License with Passenger endorsement and air brakes
  • Minimum one year of driving experience as a Class A or B driver
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
