Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bulk Operator to join our team at Cremer North America. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for loading and unloading non-hazardous and hazardous bulk chemicals across our facility grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Accountability: You will report directly to the Bulk Manager and be accountable for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of bulk chemicals.
  • Equipment Operation: You will operate a range of equipment, including pumps, piping, hoses, valves, steam, and heat trace, to unload and load rail or trucks and ISO containers.
  • Material Handling: You will transfer non-hazardous and hazardous materials from one vessel to another, including tanker trucks, totes, tanks, and ISO containers.
  • Autonomous Maintenance: You will perform autonomous maintenance tasks, including cleaning, inspecting, lubricating, and tightening to maintain equipment base condition.
  • Housekeeping and 5S: You will maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S standards.
  • Safety and Compliance: You will follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures, and adhere to all customer, regulatory, and quality requirements.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with preferred experience working as a bulk operator, in a manufacturing or warehouse setting, and with sit-down forklift experience.
  • Physical Requirements: You must be able to work on top of tanks up to 70 feet in height, work in ambient temperatures, and stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Basic Computer Skills: You must have basic computer skills, including accessing networks, accessing files, inputting or modifying data, and printing files.
