Job Details

Hiring for Contract Management Professional, you will lead a team that manages and oversees delivery and operations of a contract at a large federal agency in the Washington, DC metro area.

Your primary responsibilities will include introducing and implementing new processes and quality assurance procedures, as well as managing the IT Portfolio Management workstream.

This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to develop and deliver key program deliverables, including workflow diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and weekly/monthly performance reports.

For this role, we estimate the salary range to be approximately $120,000 - $150,000 annually, based on your relevant experience.

Key qualifications for this position include:

  • Experience in leading a federal IT Portfolio Management/CPIC team
  • Familiarity with federal financial & IT data
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management and personnel management
  • Knowledge and experience with IT project management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Requirements include:

Bachelor's degree and ability to gain and maintain a public trust clearance.

Desirable qualifications include:

Master's degree or other advanced degree

Background in staff planning and personnel management

Technology Business Management (CTBME) certification

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Federal IT Portfolio Management experience (5+ years)

Experience in USDA or other civilian agencies
