We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our Med Surg Onc team at UCHealth. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care, leading a team of nurses, and promoting a culture of excellence and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Lead and manage a team of nurses, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote a culture of safety and excellence.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify and implement best practices.
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- 1 year of nursing experience.
- ONS within 1 year of hire.
- Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Certified Nurse.
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
