Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Belmont, Massachusetts.
This is a 36-hour per week, 12-hour night shift position on 5 East.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
They will oversee other assigned team members and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide population-specific care in accordance with the BORN regulations and professional standards of care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients
- Assess patient's physical, psychological, spiritual, cultural, and social needs
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on assessments and in collaboration with the patient/family/significant other
- Coordinate and collaborate with other multidisciplinary team members to facilitate a comprehensive discharge plan
- Ensure complete, accurate, and timely written communication of patient information
- Provide safe, accurate, and timely medication and IV administration
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
- Bachelor degree in nursing, preferred
- Demonstrated clinical competence and experience as required by the specific job posting
- 1 year Med/Surg experience required, unless otherwise noted in job posting
