Industrial Painter

At Samuel, Son & Co (USA), Inc., we are seeking a skilled Painting Prepper to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting and ensuring the highest quality finish.

• Operate and maintain automatic blasting bays, nozzle blasting chambers, and other equipment to prepare surfaces for painting.
• Work with a variety of abrasives to clean and smooth surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish.
• Set up and operate stationary and portable sandblasting equipment, following safety protocols and guidelines.
• Visually inspect work to ensure quality and identify any defects or issues.
• Collaborate with paint supervisors and project managers to discuss any problems or concerns.
• Read and apply operating and maintenance manual instructions to maintain equipment.
• Operate a forklift or other aerial equipment as needed.

• 3 years of experience in industrial painting and sandblasting.
• Knowledge of two-phase and three-phase coating systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
• Ability to read and follow safety protocols and guidelines.

As a Painting Prepper, you may be exposed to loud noises, changing temperatures, and machinery with moving parts. You will be required to adhere to and abide by all ITAR-specific job standards and training.
