Job Title: Senior Quantitative Econometrics Manager

U.S. Bank is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Econometrics Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Quantitative Finance group, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced econometric models to support financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex econometric models to analyze and forecast economic indicators
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to design and implement model validation and testing procedures
  • Lead a team of quantitative analysts to develop and implement model development and validation documentation
  • Communicate model results and recommendations to stakeholders within the Bank

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Applied Economics, Physics, Engineering, or Applied Mathematics
  • Eight or more years of relevant experience in quantitative finance or econometrics
  • Four or more years of experience leading a quantitative modeling team

Preferred Skills:

  • Ph.D. in Economics, Applied Economics, Physics, Engineering, or Applied Mathematics
  • Deep understanding of broad economic systems and econometric techniques
  • Thorough knowledge of interest rates, forward curves, and economic connectivity to rates
