Sanitation Worker Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team at US Foods. As a Sanitation Worker, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our warehouse and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash bins
  • Operate equipment such as scrubbers, pallet jacks, and high lifts to perform duties
  • Prevent and respond to spills and breakages, and determine if product is resalable or must be disposed of
  • Perform light maintenance duties as assigned, including replacing light bulbs and collecting recyclable materials
  • Prepare reports and forms to document cleaning schedules, spillages, and product damage
Requirements:
  • High school education or GED preferred
  • Previous custodial and/or sanitation experience preferred
