Job Title: Sanitation SpecialistWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Sanitation Specialist to join our team at our Ventura, CA facility. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our brewery and cellar.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and sanitize tanks, vessels, floors, and drains to ensure a safe and healthy environment for production.
- Implement Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) and Sanitation-in-Place (SIP) procedures using corrosives and strong acids/bases.
- Disassemble and clean equipment, and reassemble as needed.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure quality.
- Maintain accurate records and complete checklists to ensure compliance.
- 2+ years of experience in the food or beverage manufacturing industry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Basic arithmetic skills and understanding of throughput and efficiency concepts.

The Sanitation Specialist will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, lifting up to 75 lbs. and pushing/pulling up to 200 lbs. The position also requires standing, walking, and climbing for extended periods.
