About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to join our team in Portland, Oregon. This full-time role is ideal for someone with at least two years of experience in a similar field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, distribute, and close client files in accordance with retention policies
  • Update and verify client-matter file information through accurate data entry
  • Process client intake and records forms, assigning client and matter numbers for both manual and automated systems
  • Maintain and organize various records, including will safes, file banks, and statistical logs
  • Respond to inquiries from attorneys and staff via phone and email with professionalism and problem-solving expertise
Requirements
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in data entry with strong analytical thinking
  • The ability to communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues
  • Advanced reading, comprehension, and filing abilities, with a willingness to learn new database software
  • A high school diploma (or equivalent) is required, along with at least two years of verifiable experience in a general office or clerical environment
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $53,000 to $60,000 per year, as well as benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability.
