Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 1 year
Licensure: Required
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and effective resident care, showcasing proficiency in executing assigned treatments and procedures in line with established protocols.
- Stay informed of the latest standards and integrate them into nursing practice throughout the care continuum.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care.
- Address age-specific needs in the provision of care, procedures, and treatments.
- Communicate essential resident information and care plans effectively during transitions and shift changes.
- Administer medications accurately, adhering to the five rights of medication administration.
- Perform treatments using sterile or clean techniques with precision.
- Manage external feeding administration competently.
- Complete resident care tasks within designated shift times.
- Adapt to reassignment as necessary to prioritize resident care.
- Report and delegate resident care issues and potential solutions to appropriate nursing management.
Work Environment:
Safety Equipment: May require the use of safety gear, such as HEPA masks, for infection control.
Exposure Risk: OSHA Category I - Routine exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
