Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 1 year

Licensure: Required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe and effective resident care, showcasing proficiency in executing assigned treatments and procedures in line with established protocols.
  • Stay informed of the latest standards and integrate them into nursing practice throughout the care continuum.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care.
  • Address age-specific needs in the provision of care, procedures, and treatments.
  • Communicate essential resident information and care plans effectively during transitions and shift changes.
  • Administer medications accurately, adhering to the five rights of medication administration.
  • Perform treatments using sterile or clean techniques with precision.
  • Manage external feeding administration competently.
  • Complete resident care tasks within designated shift times.
  • Adapt to reassignment as necessary to prioritize resident care.
  • Report and delegate resident care issues and potential solutions to appropriate nursing management.

Work Environment:

Safety Equipment: May require the use of safety gear, such as HEPA masks, for infection control.

Exposure Risk: OSHA Category I - Routine exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.

Location: One facility
