Position Overview

Corewell Health is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality healthcare services through advanced cross-sectional imaging techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct CT imaging procedures and related tasks to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
  • Ensure the availability and functionality of imaging equipment at the start and end of each shift.
  • Review and verify patients' clinical histories, ensuring all necessary information is documented for the licensed practitioner.
  • Select appropriate technical parameters and operate imaging equipment effectively.
  • Position patients and equipment to optimally display the anatomical areas of interest while prioritizing patient comfort.
  • Assess images for technical quality, adjust display settings, and upload images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) for permanent records.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, reporting any equipment issues to the relevant personnel.
Qualifications

Applicants should possess an Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Certification requirements include:

  • CRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board upon hire, or
  • CRT-Computerized Tomography (CT) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (2 years required).
Work Environment
