Responsibilities
  • Assist with assessments and preparation of patients scheduled for surgery, endoscopy, and bronchoscopies
  • Practice safe patient care while being self-reliant and understanding hospital resources
  • Collaborate with anesthesia and surgeons to provide comprehensive care
  • Work effectively with inpatient units, the Operating room, Recovery, Physicians, X-ray, Pulmonary team, and Cytology
Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
