EVENING SOCIAL COORDINATOR ROLE

The primary duty of a Social Coordinator is to maintain a clean and well-stocked social environment while ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction through friendly and attentive service. This role requires an organized and efficient approach to work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for guests, providing insights about local attractions and community offerings.
  • Assist guests with sincerity and professionalism, striving to exceed expectations and ensure their complete satisfaction.
  • Set up the social area in accordance with brand standards and local health regulations to guarantee guest safety and satisfaction.
  • Attend to guest needs by ensuring food is continuously replenished and presented attractively, while also maintaining cleanliness of tables and surroundings.
  • Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to company standards.
  • Keep dining and work areas clean and organized, including thorough disinfection of food preparation and serving areas.
  • Maintain all serving equipment and utensils in a tidy and efficient manner to enhance presentation and service quality.
  • Organize storage areas to uphold food quality, implementing a first-in, first-out method for inventory management.
  • Plan and prepare for the upcoming week by reviewing the social food schedule and checking inventory to ensure sufficient supplies.
  • Proactively maintain the equipment and facilities within the social area.
  • Ensure daily maintenance of temperature and waste logs.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of hotel services and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
  • Understand and apply safety and security protocols to maintain a secure environment for both guests and staff.
  • Keep supervisors informed of any significant issues or unusual occurrences, providing potential solutions when necessary.
  • Address guest concerns promptly and appropriately, escalating issues to management when beyond authority.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  1. Ability to quickly observe and respond to various guest situations.
  2. Capability to manage stress and maintain composure in challenging circumstances.
  3. Willingness to accept guidance and prioritize tasks as directed by supervisors.
  4. Ability to perform duties with minimal disruption to guests.
  5. Friendly demeanor with the ability to engage easily with guests.
  6. Collaborative spirit and willingness to support team members.
  7. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  8. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods.
  9. Capability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds multiple times during a shift.
  10. Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned.
  11. Adherence to grooming and uniform standards as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

The Social Coordinator reports directly to the Operations Manager or the designated Manager on duty.
