The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in sewing management and possess a strong eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and great leadership abilities. They will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of sewing conform to our company's high standards and will work closely with our team to achieve this goal.
A comprehensive understanding of sewing and textiles, as well as management experience, is essential for this role. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about sewing equipment, including single needle, double needle, serge, overlock, walking foot, and Cronos machinery. They will also be able to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to improve team performance.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $85,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards. However, this figure may vary depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
The Sewing Department Director will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
