Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage geotechnical project assignments, including field investigations, laboratory testing, engineering evaluations, and report generation.
  • Conduct quality control assessments of proposals and reports, ensuring operations consistently meet client commitments.
  • Engage in business development and marketing initiatives while fostering and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Mentor and train both senior and junior engineering staff.
  • Participate in networking and relationship-building activities with professional and technical organizations.
Qualifications for Success:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
    • A Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in geotechnical engineering with proven project management capabilities is essential.
  • Professional Engineer Registration (P.E.) in the relevant jurisdiction is required or the ability to apply for reciprocity within a specified timeframe.
  • Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills are crucial.
  • In-depth knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and the ability to provide innovative and practical solutions to meet client needs.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
