Job Title: Mobile Diesel Technician

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Diesel Technician to join our team at Ryder System. As a Mobile Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with heavy-duty vehicles
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure all vehicles meet regulatory requirements
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to resolve issues and provide excellent customer service
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in heavy-duty diesel mechanics
  • Valid CDL Class A license
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
