Responsibilities

As a physical therapist assistant with Amedisys, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a physical therapist and in accordance with the physician-approved plan of care.
  • Observing, recording, and reporting patient responses to treatment.
  • Promoting wellness and prevention.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of information relating to the physical therapist-client relationship.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current license to practice as a physical therapy assistant, specific to the state you're assigned to work in.
  • A graduate degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant educational program.
  • At least one year of related experience or approval from regional clinical leaders.
