Job Description Essential Functions:


As a key member of the GDKN team, the Compliance Engineer will play a vital role in ensuring the company's adherence to federal, state, and industry regulations. This includes assessing compliance levels, developing and reviewing procedures, and coordinating the collection of compliance documents.


The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of liquified natural gas operations, maintenance work practices, and applicable regulatory codes. They will also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.


Responsibilities will include:


• Conducting internal compliance assurance activities to assess level of compliance with existing and proposed federal, state or industry legislation and regulations.


• Developing and reviewing procedures and policies to ensure compliance with company standards and procedures, federal, state and local regulations and codes.


• Coordinating the collection of compliance documents to support regulatory filing requirements and information requests.


• Assisting in the oversight of construction, operation and maintenance activities to ensure specification and code compliance.


• Ensuring compliance with field procedures and coordinating with other Gas Business Groups.


• Reviewing purchase requisitions and invoices related to departmental activity.


• Assisting in gas distribution system/LNG restoration efforts during emergencies.

Technical Knowledge/Skill:


• Thorough knowledge of liquified natural gas operations and maintenance work practices and procedures.


• Knowledge of applicable regulatory codes and regulations.


• Knowledge of natural gas principles.


• Working knowledge of environmental requirements affecting related activities.


• Familiarity with MS Office.

Education:


• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Experience:


• Minimum of three (3) years of related experience.
