The Hotel Colorado is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Dishwasher, available in both Full-Time and Part-Time capacities. The compensation for this role is set at $18.00 per hour. Role Purpose: The primary objective of this position is to ensure that kitchen workspaces, dining equipment, dishes, and utensils are maintained in a clean and organized manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remove food residues from soiled dishes and either wash them manually or load them into a commercial dishwasher.
  • Utilize revolving brushes to clean the interior surfaces of glasses.
  • Clean pots, pans, and trays thoroughly.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors through sweeping and mopping.
  • Sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
  • Sort and dispose of trash and waste in designated containers.
  • Steam clean or hose out waste receptacles.
  • Sort bottles and manage disposable ones using a bottle crushing machine.
  • Polish silverware using appropriate cleaning equipment.
  • Assist in transferring supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
  • Prepare vegetables by washing and peeling them as needed.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
