We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the Iowa Correctional Institution for Women. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:
- Providing direct patient care and managing patient flow
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Conducting patient assessments and developing plans of care
- Providing education and support to patients and their families
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa or licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact Administrator's Agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing
- At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a correctional or healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
