Registered Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the Iowa Correctional Institution for Women in Mitchellville. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients in a correctional facility setting
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and develop effective treatment plans
  • Administer medications, triage patient complaints, and conduct educational sessions
  • Participate in the management of nursing care and provide clinical leadership
Requirements:
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa or licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact Administrator's Agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
