Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with project leaders to assess construction needs and requirements.

Plan, organize, and prioritize tasks with various contractors to ensure adherence to safety standards, quality expectations, timelines, and budget constraints.

Develop project estimates, scopes of work, bid packages, and schedules. Strategically arrange bid packages to enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) such as safety, cost efficiency, and schedule adherence.

Coordinate construction activities with ongoing projects and represent construction interests in planning meetings.

Verify contractor compliance with safety protocols by reviewing Job Safety Analyses and monitoring ongoing work, ensuring alignment with client safety standards.

Conduct inspections to ensure installations comply with established guidelines.

Assess construction contractor performance in terms of safety, quality, productivity, cost management, and environmental impact.

Qualifications:

10-15 years of experience in industrial construction and equipment installation, preferably in the automotive sector.

Proven experience in managing safety protocols for construction activities.

Essential Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, effective time management, and technical communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and off-hours as necessary.

This role is primarily remote but requires occasional travel to various North American facilities.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in an industrial construction trade (e.g., millwright, electrician, pipefitter).

Experience managing multiple trades simultaneously.

Estimating experience is a plus.

Familiarity with ICI agreements and experience with unionized trades.

Knowledge of AutoCAD is advantageous.

Additional Information:

Lead construction projects related to equipment installations, relocations, and demolitions across North American facilities.

Expected to spend a significant portion of time on-site, with some desk work required.

Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) are essential.

Industrial experience is mandatory, while automotive experience is preferred.

Self-motivated individual capable of working independently and collaboratively.

Flexibility in work hours is necessary.

Responsible for overseeing upcoming projects and ensuring quality checks on contractor/vendor performance.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.

Overtime may be required, including weekends and holidays.

Travel may be necessary for project management purposes, both domestically and internationally.
