Hotel Night Audit Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Hotel Night Audit professional.

About the Job:
As a Hotel Night Audit professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all guests of the hotel, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service to all guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of room assignments and payments.
  • Balance cash and reconcile credit card transactions, maintaining accurate financial records and reporting any discrepancies to management.
  • Respond to guest requests, selling rooms to walk-in guests, and entering/changing reservations in the system.
  • Process payments from guests, making necessary changes to guest accounts, and informing housekeeping of any room changes.
  • Listen and respond to the needs of guests, resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Respond to guest complaints, answering the phone, transferring calls, and cleaning the front desk area and surrounding areas.
  • Complete checklists, maintain daily logs, and balance the cash drawer, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of financial transactions.

Requirements:
  • Ability to work a 8-hour overnight shift, standing for extended periods and maintaining a high level of energy and focus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy in handling cash and credit card transactions.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry practices and procedures, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
