Position Summary
The Fire Alarm Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems and their components. This role involves working with electrical wiring and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Conduct service, testing, inspection, programming, and installation of low voltage fire alarm systems.
- Obtain and maintain all necessary local licenses.
- Perform emergency troubleshooting, programming, and repairs on-site.
- Travel as required to various job sites within the state.
Qualifications
- Experience in the fire alarm industry with a valid installer license or the ability to obtain one shortly after hiring.
- Prior installation or inspection experience is preferred.
- A valid driver's license in accordance with company policy.
- Strong knowledge of applicable NFPA codes.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
