The Role

As a Registered Nurse on our Adult Psych team, you'll serve as a leader of the healthcare team, establishing authentic personalized relationships with our patients and their loved ones. You'll collaborate with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care that promote optimal health or support a peaceful death.

You'll utilize evidence-based practice and compassion to assist our patients in navigating their health journeys. With your expertise and experience, you'll accept responsibility, authority, and accountability for management and provision of care in accordance with current policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, interventions, and evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • AAS or BSN degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current valid North Carolina nursing license.
  • One year of relevant experience preferred.
