We are seeking a skilled Clinician to join our team at UMass Memorial Health. As a Clinician, you will provide psychiatric and substance abuse evaluation and crisis intervention services to individuals and families in crisis.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive psychiatric and substance abuse evaluations in home, community, clinic, and hospital settings.
- Develop and implement crisis intervention plans to stabilize individuals and families in crisis.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Partner with paraprofessional staff to provide support services to youth and their families.
- Coordinate referrals to other levels of care and community providers.
- Master's degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling or related field).
- Licensure as LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or actively working towards licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- 1 or more years of experience providing clinical services to youth.
- Excellent clinical, written, and verbal skills.
- Ability to complete thorough and accurate documentation within an electronic health record.
- Strong computer/word processing skills.
- Commitment to providing outstanding care.
- Demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.
