Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Job Description

This role is responsible for meeting manufacturing profits and loss goals by directing and managing all production activities. Ensuring product quality and adherence to applicable standards is also a key responsibility.

  • The successful candidate will participate as a team member on the HACCP team and ensure that the HACCP plan is followed and documented for verification.
  • They will communicate with plant management and quality control staff concerning food safety and quality issues.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Establishing goals and standards for production, plant facility, equipment maintenance, and sanitation in cooperation with other management personnel and company guidelines.
  2. Ensuring all products produced meet established specifications and quality attributes.
  3. DIRECTING SUBORDINATES IN ACHIEVING COMPLIANCE WITH ALL APPLICABLE QUALITY AND REGULATORY STANDARDS (FDA, AIB, OSHA, ETC.)
  4. Maintaining a safe working environment for all employees/contractors.
Requirements
  • Licenses/certifications as required.
  • Must be physically capable of rapid, unimpeded movement to all areas of the plant.
  • Ability to generate written communication, operate computer keyboard, and other required office equipment.
