Key Responsibilities:
- Execute daily warehouse tasks, which include loading and unloading goods, organizing inventory, and maintaining an active presence on the warehouse floor.
- Safely operate different types of material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Utilize bar code RF scanners to ensure the quality and accuracy of inventory management.
- Assist with occasional deliveries within a designated radius, ensuring timely and precise distribution of products.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by helping with product unloading and addressing customer inquiries.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-trip inspections in compliance with safety regulations, prioritizing safety at all times.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to prepare trucks for the following day, enhancing operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a warehouse setting is essential.
- Familiarity with forklift operation and RF scanning technology is required.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including frequent lifting and walking significant distances daily.
- A strong work ethic and dedication to providing exceptional service to our customers.
- Possession of a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) and a current DOT medical card is preferred but not mandatory at the outset; a willingness to obtain these credentials is crucial.
