Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Technician to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our Microbial Daily Management program, you will be responsible for conducting daily microbiological, analytical, and sensory testing of environmental samples, finished products, and intermediate materials to ensure they meet necessary release criteria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete daily microbiological, analytical, and sensory testing of environmental samples, finished products, and intermediate materials
  • Assist with the implementation of new quality systems and validations
  • Perform daily Micro, Analytical, and Odor labs
  • Aseptically process Raw, Intermediate, and Finished Products samples for applicable microbial tests
  • Read microbial test results and perform selective or differential tests as needed
  • Complete data reviews and release formulations for production
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and calibrate equipment such as pH meters, FTIR, UV/VIS spectrophotometers, and HPLC
  • Assist with training and qualification of new QC Techs
  • Lead investigations of corrective actions or out-of-spec results
  • Adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
Requirements
  • Hard Skills: Microbiological Testing, Analytical Testing, Sensory Testing, Quality Systems, Material Identification Testing, Micro, Analytical, and Odor Labs, Aseptic Processing, Microbial Test Result Analysis, Data Review, Equipment Troubleshooting and Maintenance, Training and Qualification, Corrective Action Investigations, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
