Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide evaluation and treatment to patients of all ages with speech, language, cognitive-communicative, voice, and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess speech, language, cognitive-communicative, voice, and swallowing skills according to organizational and professional guidelines.
  • Develop individually-tailored treatment plans that reflect an understanding of patients' age and situation, including discharge plans.
  • Reassess patient status and modify treatment plans based on patient progress towards stated goals.
  • Document diagnostic findings and patient performance in treatment programs.
  • Prepare accurate billing to reflect care provided to patients.
  • Orient, train, and mentor Speech Language Pathology and health care students to achieve stated performance expectations.
  • Identify and act upon performance improvement opportunities to implement best practices.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Communication Disorders from an ASHA-accredited university program.
  • Licensed (and in good standing) in Speech Language Pathology by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association or meet educational requirements for certification.

  • Highly developed communications and interpersonal skills, working with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and contribute as a member of a team.
  • Anticipates challenges and develops and implements strategies for addressing them.
  • High level of service delivery.
