Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygiene Specialist to join our team. As a Dental Hygiene Specialist, you will be recognized as an elite clinical provider and patient advocate. You will be an integral member of the patient care team, giving your patients the time and care they need, deserve and desire.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional oral health care to patients
  • Conduct thorough dental hygiene procedures, including cleanings and screenings
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients
  • Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies

Requirements:

  • Current dental hygienist license in South Carolina
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and dental patient screening
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • New grads and experienced hygienists are welcome
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
