Support Services Specialist for Students with Disabilities

The Boston Public Schools is seeking a highly skilled Support Services Specialist to provide support to students with disabilities in the ABA Strand and other students placed at risk within the school(s). As a key member of our team, you will work closely with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective support services that meet the unique needs of each student.
Key responsibilities include providing individualized support services to students, collaborating with teachers to develop and implement IEPs and Service Team Action Plans, participating in Service Teams and Evaluation Teams, and providing consultation and professional development to colleagues. Additionally, you will be responsible for case management and liaison with other schools, district, and community-based providers.
We are looking for a qualified candidate who holds a Moderate or Severe Disabilities License from the State of Massachusetts, has experience delivering these support services to students with disabilities, and is committed to meeting the BPS Standards of Effective Practice. Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is also required.
