We're seeking a skilled Behavioral Specialist II to join our team at Eliot Community Human Services. As a key member of our ACCS program, you'll work closely with residents to develop skills and support their recovery journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support and interventions to residents, focusing on problem-solving, skills training, and behavior modeling.
  • Collaborate with the team to assess symptoms and responses to interventions, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each resident's needs.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that prioritize resident-centered care and clinically-based interventions.
  • Support residents in achieving their recovery goals and promoting a culture of hope and empowerment.
  • Administer and monitor medications in accordance with agency, DMH, and DPH regulations, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • 2-3 years of experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness.
