Job Title: CPRS Qlik App Developer

We are seeking a skilled CPRS Qlik App Developer to join our team at Huntington Ingalls Industries. As a key member of our C5ISR Business Group, you will play a critical role in refining our centralized data environment (CDE) and contributing to auditable financial transaction data and a common operating picture for leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software
  • Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards
  • Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system
  • Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections
Requirements:
  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience
  • Relational Database development (SQL) experience
  • Experience with Python libraries for data manipulation
  • Proficiency in creating scripts, calculated fields, and expressions to create dynamic dashboards
  • Robust data model creation and management
  • Creating and managing scheduled jobs and automation
  • Data Visualization and business intelligence experience (Tableau, Qlik, or PowerBI)
  • Experience developing in DataBricks or similar notebook-style data warehouse platform
  • Understanding of ETL with various disparate data sources and systems
Clearance:

Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance

Bonus Points:
  • 5+ years Relational Database development (SQL)
  • 5+ years Data Visualization and business intelligence experience (Tableau, Qlik, or PowerBI)
  • Understanding of Advana DataBricks' Gold/Silver/Bronze data zones
  • Experience with AWS workspace
  • Domain knowledge of data sources and reports, and their stakeholders
  • Experience working with a team of developers in an Agile environment (JIRA or similar)
  • Ability to understand the transactional nature of the data being reviewed
  • Experience with FMS
  • Qlik Sense or DataBricks Certifications
  • CSSLP Certification
  • Security+ Certification
Physical Requirements:

Job performance requires adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of the generic systems analyst discipline. Office work environment normally encountered.
