Job Summary
Allina Health is a leading healthcare provider that values patient-centered care. We are seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. As a key member of our surgical services department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment according to department policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control guidelines and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure seamless surgical procedures and efficient case cart management.
• Perform quality assurance checks on equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or malfunctions to supervisors.

Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in instrument specialist, central supply, or surgical technology preferred.
• Certification from the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) certification within 18 months of hire.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 25 pounds frequently, with medium work demands.
