Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and restrooms
  • Empty trash and recyclables from designated areas
  • Perform light maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and replacing air filters
  • Assist with snow removal and lawn care as needed
  • Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of janitorial or maintenance experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Environment

The Janitorial Specialist will work in a residential apartment setting, interacting with tenants and other staff members. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain a positive attitude in the face of challenges.

Physical Demands

The Janitorial Specialist will be required to stand, walk, and use hands and arms to perform tasks. The ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a variety of environments (including outdoor and indoor spaces) is essential.
