Responsibilities:


Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and the management team to create and execute a tailored EHS plan that aligns with corporate, divisional, and regional EHS standards.


Assist Project Managers and EHS specialists in coordinating EHS protocols with subcontractors, vendors, and project personnel.

Facilitate the integration of EHS programs with subcontractors.

Support the planning and coordination of work to mitigate hazards, reduce risks, and effectively manage incidents involving injuries or property damage.

Conduct quarterly comprehensive on-site EHS audits.

Regularly inspect and assess the project site, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies.

Lead accident investigations and prepare incident reports for management review.

Accompany injured personnel to medical evaluations and ensure adherence to all EHS protocols.

Advise management on Industrial Hygiene practices and conduct Environmental Monitoring.

Oversee the implementation of the Company's Drug-Free Workplace Policy, ensuring appropriate testing protocols are followed.

Provide training and education to staff regarding EHS requirements, including new hire orientation programs.

Administer the corporate SPAT process for assigned projects.

Deliver weekly EHS updates to EHS Leadership.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

CHST (Construction Health & Safety Technician) Certification

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction EHS sector

Strong communication skills, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and effective time management

Thorough knowledge of regulations and standards, along with hazard recognition and injury management skills

Some travel may be required

Physical ability to stand, sit, walk, and/or climb stairs or ladders
