About the Role:
The Senior Production Supervisor is a key leadership position at Furlani Foods, responsible for overseeing the production team and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the production team, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure that all production processes meet the highest standards of quality and safety, and that all team members are aware of and adhere to our food safety protocols.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster open and effective communication with all stakeholders, including team members, supervisors, and other departments, to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination.

Requirements:

- Certifications and Skills: HACCP and first aid certifications, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, action-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- Work Environment: The Senior Production Supervisor will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with regular exposure to production equipment, machinery, and chemicals.
- Physical Demands: The role requires the ability to stand for long periods, walk on uneven surfaces, and lift up to 25 pounds, with regular exposure to loud noises, strong smells, and dust/flour.
