Data Scientist Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist to join our team at Amazon. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven solutions to optimize our transportation network.

Responsibilities
Developing scalable data science solutions to audit and optimize our transportation network
Developing and executing analytical tools to model our transportation network
Contributing to the strategy for network design, prioritizing technical and operational initiatives, and evaluating stakeholders' expectations

Qualifications
1+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), or statistical/mathematical software (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab)
2+ years of experience as a data/research scientist, statistician, or quantitative analyst in an internet-based company with complex and big data sources

Benefits
Competitive salary range ($97,500 - $206,800 per year), dependent on location and experience
Equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package
A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits

Other Information
This position has the option to be located in various locations, including Bellevue WA, Austin TX, Nashville TN, Santa Monica CA, Arlington VA, New York City NY, or Toronto CA.
