The Opportunity

As a Phlebotomist (Float) at One Medical, you'll provide exceptional patient care and support our team in delivering high-quality services. You'll be responsible for performing venipuncture and other clinical support services, utilizing the highest quality standards to ensure patient satisfaction and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide best-in-class venipuncture services to patients of all ages
  • Perform and assist with extended scope duties, including non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs
  • Maintain high standards of in-office care through proper specimen labeling, handling, and processing, inventory upkeep, and tool sterilization
  • Support our team in delivering exceptional patient care, including answering patient messages, following up on lab cases, and assisting providers and virtual medical teams with clerical duties
Requirements
  • At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of a training/externship environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, bilingual applicants encouraged to apply
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in computer technology, including typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously
  • Experience working on collaborative, diverse, multi-disciplinary teams, with a proven ability to display confidence and instill trust during the collection process

  • Competitive salary: starts at $20.25 per hour based on a full-time schedule
Work Environment

This is a full-time role (40 hrs/week) with 8 hr shifts generally taking place between 7:30am-5pm based in our Miami and Ft. Lauderdale offices. Flex Lab Services Specialists lend support to multiple One Medical locations in a market and location and schedule are subject to change.
