Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Care Division Director to lead our Advanced Practice team. This role requires a strong background in clinical practice, leadership, and operational management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans for APP workforce planning, operations, and optimization efforts.
  • Partner with physician and administrative care division leaders to make informed decisions on APP-related matters.
  • Responsible for addressing quality concerns, tracking metrics, and implementing solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to APP scope of practice through annual review of collaborative practice agreements and delineation of privileges documents.
  • Communicate system, state, and national policy changes affecting APP practice to the service line APPs.
Requirements
  • Nurse Practitioner: Masters Degree required; Doctorate of Nursing Practice preferred.
  • Physician Assistant: Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Masters Degree required. Clinical or Leadership Doctorate preferred.
  • Approved to practice as a Registered Nurse/Physician Assistant in the State of practice of North Carolina or South Carolina respectively.
  • South Carolina Nurse Practitioners must be eligible for prescriptive authority application through the Board of Nursing. Must have or be eligible for a DEA license.
  • Minimum 2 years of management/supervisory experience; specialty-specific experience required.
Estimated Salary Range

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

This is a full-time position that requires frequent travel between various locations within the healthcare system. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritize and concentrate in a fast-paced environment.
