Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Account Executive to join our team in the Northeast region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with small to medium-sized business owners, working closely with our colleagues in Customer Service, Underwriting, IT, Sales Support, and other departments to onboard new businesses, and managing your pipeline and day-to-day tasks/appointments using Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with small to medium-sized business owners to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Work closely with our colleagues to onboard new businesses, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
  • Manage your pipeline and day-to-day tasks/appointments using Salesforce, ensuring timely follow-up and effective communication.
  • Prepare presentations and proposals using our electronic applications, showcasing the value of our payment processing services.
  • Educate merchants and business owners on the payment processing industry, highlighting the benefits of our solutions.
  • Maintain regular communication with your sales leadership, providing updates on your progress and seeking guidance as needed.
  • Closing sales of our payment processing services to meet expected minimum requirements, driving revenue growth and expansion.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of business-to-business (B2B) outside sales experience, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Valid current driver's license and auto insurance, with a strong ability to travel within the Northeast region.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a strong hunter mentality and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to self-source leads through a combination of prospecting, cold-calling, and networking, with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively in a fast-paced environment.
