Pro Shop Sales Associate

Position Summary: The Tennis Shop Attendant is accountable for the efficient daily operations of the pro shop and administrative tasks. This role is primarily focused on weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Professionally manage incoming calls.
- Effectively operate the Point-of-Sale system.
- Facilitate merchandise sales to club members.
- Ensure accurate billing for all transactions.
- Assist in creating promotional materials for tennis events.
- Process charges for lessons and clinics as required.
- Foster enthusiasm and promote tennis activities.
- Notify the Head Professional regarding low inventory levels.
- Maintain bulletin boards with timely updates on events and promotions, collaborating with the communication manager for visual materials.
- Log all guest entries to the courts.
- Ensure compliance with dress code and club regulations among players.
- Monitor and manage towel supplies.
- Make confirmation calls to members for scheduled events.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of tennis events and programs to assist members and staff.
- Promptly relay member feedback to the Director and Head Professional.
- Maintain cleanliness in the pro shop through regular cleaning tasks.
- Restock bathrooms with towels and ensure adequate supplies in the pro shop.
- Maintain the lesson book and daily tennis log.
- Exhibit excellent attendance and punctuality due to the role's impact on operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment.
- Capable of fostering positive relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and members.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Publisher, Excel, and Word.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Physical capability to lift up to thirty (30) pounds.
