Job Title: Continuous Improvement Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Continuous Improvement Leader to join our team at M.C. Dean, Inc. in Caroline County, VA.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading lean transformations and driving continuous improvement initiatives. They will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement, implementing lean methodologies, and driving sustainable change to enhance operational effectiveness and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end lean transformation projects, including planning, implementation, and evaluation phases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and develop comprehensive lean strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Analyze existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement lean methodologies to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
  • Act as a change agent to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on lean principles, tools, and techniques to build capability and empower employees to drive improvement at all levels of the organization.
  • Help establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of lean initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (5 plus years) leading lean transformations in a manufacturing, supply chain, or service industry environment.
  • Strong understanding of lean principles, including value stream mapping, Kaizen, 5S, visual management, and waste reduction techniques.
  • Demonstrated expertise in change management, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
